2718 Modern : PLAID was retained to transform an outdated landscape to a modern marvel to match a whole-house makeover. The transformation included a simplified entry with spectacular granite paving, accent aggregate, clever step lighting, and a restrained plant palette. For the back of the property, the changes were more significant with the removal of a large, limestone retaining wall and tired patios. The replacement of these elements included a series of steps and terraces connecting an upper patio to a lower pool deck. The addition of an outdoor kitchen and dynamic pergola, tucked under a mature shade tree, added to the functionality and ambiance of the space. A fire pit, modern furniture, groovy planters, and a sculpture make this back yard a fun place to relax and play.
