Shawnee Bend Master Plan [Lake of the Ozarks, MO] : The master plan for this 3,000-acre resort community includes 6,000 residential units; two 18-hole golf courses; hotels; a retail village; a community marina; and health, performing arts and community centers; all sensitively and appropriately integrated into a physically challenging site.

Eighteen miles of trails connect residents with 22 miles of shoreline, 700 acres of preserved open space, and 91 acres of inland lakes. The preservation and enhancement of existing wetlands and wildlife habitats was an important priority in the planning process.

 This master plan will guide development implementation well into the future, and promote a dynamic and sustainable community featuring a full complement of services and amenities in a beautiful and environmentally responsible setting.
