Centerview [Raymore, MO] : PLAID is currently collaborating with the City of Raymore and DRAW Architects on the development of a new civic building that will accommodate a range of community events. The building was sited to reinforce the street edge at the front, and provide a seamless connection with the park-like site behind. The site development compliments the building design and functions. It includes well-defined outdoor use areas, a pedestrian circulation system linked with nearby landscape features, spaces for public art, and an extensive planting scheme that provides spatial definition and seasonal interest.
